made some adjustments to the chat css and javascript!
right click menu:

if there are new messages while a chat window is not focused (like if you're in another tab,) the page title will show an unread message count.
worm game pages also have a little notification bubble at the bottom of the page if new messages come in after you've closed the popup!
currently doesn't remember which messages you've read or not once you refresh the page, but that's something i want to do eventually. might add an opt-in setting to play a sound as well
added a basic message reply system! reply link only jumps to messages if they're already loaded on the page, probably need to fix that eventually.
bunch of new emojis added over the last week! also vectorized most of the existing ones.
Edited messages now update live for others (without making a ridiculous number of requests per minute like it used to), messages sent less than an hour apart by the same user have condensed styling, and the message length limit for the sending box actually matches the backend so long messages aren't cut short behind the scenes anymore.
Also, deleted messages now appear permanently to all users as an anonymous "message deleted" indicator. Subject to change based on feedback!
simple user purrofile now exist at /u/username (e.g. /u/codecreature)! this serves zero purrpose i just wanted to learn how 2 do it. uses bbcode if u wanna get fancy with it!!
u can also set a color style 4 ur purrofile, chat username, etc
finally, a couple new emojis added 2 the bbcode :33c
chat bbcode now supports custom emojis! very small set for now, will probably add more at some point in the future
the right click message menu now includes a copy option
also hopefully fixed a bug with sending messages via the enter key on mobile
assuming everything worked correctly, you should be able to delete or edit your own chat messages and report messages from other users! currently accessed via right-clicking; will create a better and more accessible system later. mods and admins also have the ability to delete other users' messages, though that means nothing to most of you.
i don't currently feel like doing the work necessary to prevent certain kinds of malicious behavior, so logged out users don't have permission to edit or delete their own messages.
also fixed it so the page doesn't refresh when you send a message. neat
users can now set their pronouns for the chats!
16 character limit but otherwise freestyling it.
made a simple navigation/hub page for chatrooms so they're accessible from a central location!
